You know the story. You know the songs. Young people ages 5 to 18 may audition for a variety of speaking and singing roles. Smaller chorus parts are also available. Auditions will be held May 19 and 20 at 7 p.m. Those auditioning will be asked to sing a song (Happy Birthday works very well) and learn a dance. Rehearsals will begin the next week from 4 – 6 p.m. In June, rehearsals will be 1 – 3 p.m. Monday – Friday.

Little Red: Life in the Hood

Little Red Riding Hood has come to tell her story on Terry Tellus’ talk show but is rudely interrupted by her Grandmother and the Wolf. It seems Red Riding Hood’s version is nothing but a fairy tale! The Grandmother and the Wolf insist on equal air time. Other fairy tale character push their way in as we make our way through the twists and turns of the different versions. Auditions will be held on June 16 and 17 at 7 p.m. Rehearsal will begin the next week in the evenings.

VWCT presents an opportunity to high school and college students to create and present this musical version of the well- loved story of the Peanuts gang. Auditions will be held Wednesday, May 29 and Thursday, May 30 at 7 p.m. Rehearsals will begin in June and continue through the summer. No rehearsals week of July 4.
